 बालुका स्तूपो उनके प्रकार  (i) अनुप्रस्थ बालुका स्तूप 3 इस प्रकार के बालका हवा की दिशा के समकोण पर वानते है भाग खड़ा और एक भाग ढालकुमा स्तूप फिनका एक होता है, इस प्रकार के बालुका स्तूपों का विस्तार बाड़मेर बीकानेर, जोधपुर क्षेत्र में पाया जाता है। (2) अनुदैर्ध्य बालुका स्तूप  ये बालुका स्तृप पवनानुवर्ति होते है अर्थात पवन की दिशा के समान्तर बनेत है, इसका विस्तार जैसलमेर के दक्षिणी पश्चिमी भाग, रामगढ़ के पश्चिमी तथा जोधपुर व बाड़मेर जिले में दिखने को मिलता है। (3)बरखान / अर्धचन्द्राकार बालुका स्टॉपप न बालुका स्तूप शीप की आकृति के होते है, तथा इसकी ऊँचाई 10-20 m. चुक के भालेरी होती है इसका विस्तार "बीकानेर के देशनोक लूणकरणासा जैसलमेर, बाड़मेर तथा पोधपुर के ऑतियाँ ल्या श्रीगंगानगर के सूरतगढ़ नामक क्षेत्र में देखने को मिलते है।  4.पोराबोलिक बालुका स्तूप ने इसका विस्तार सम्पूर्ण रेगिस्तान में होता है, तथा इनका निर्माण वनस्पति के योग से होता है। (5) तारानुमा बालुका स्तूप  ये बालुका स्तूप श्रृंखलाबान्द पकिर मे पाये जाते है जिनकी 3. 10-20m. होती है तथा इसका विस्तार' मोहनगढ़, ...
